Growing up!!!

Anything to keep him busy for a bit!

First time drinking from a sippy today!

What I came in to find! AHHH!

Today I woke up, looked at the monitor, only to see Mr. Noah standing up and leaning over the side of the crib! Ahhh... had I not run in there when I did he would have definitely tumbled out of his crib.... Needless to say we lowered it two notches so our sweet angel won't fall out and bonk his head!

More exciting news..... Noah's first tooth is coming in! He is a little crankier than usual and chewing on EVERYTHING, but overall dealing really well! No pics yet of the tooth as it is just breaking through the gum!

And, Noah used his sippy cup for the first time today too! He loved having some water with breakfast, lunch, and din din!

So apparently Daddy hasn't learned to take clothes off yet when you give him food! Notice his shirt!

On Sunday we had a small BBQ at our house just for fun! We had an array of appetizers(including stuffed potatoes), grilled tri-tip, and margaritas for everybody! It was great getting family together as well as some close friends. Noah had a ball hanging out with his Aunties and Uncles and most of all with his cousin Maura! Casey's Dad, Beth, Sean, Maura, John, Stacy, Leana, Adrienne, and Judy all helped drink margaritas and celebrate the upcoming week!

Casey, Grandpa Frosty, Noah, and Me... watching the parade!

Over the last month we have been incredibly busy and have really enjoyed watching some of Noah's accomplishments! In July he learned how to sit-up and how to crawl... he is really moving along. Noah is also now sleeping through the whole night (which makes for a very happy Mommy and Daddy) and we were able to put him on a nap schedule during the day with two 1-2 hour naps a day! Woo hoo! We are so blessed and amazed by this incredible little guy!

In July we took a trip up to Mendocino with Casey's side of the family. Grandpa Frosty, Mama C, Corey, Chaudy, Cadence, Cheira, & cousin Bryan all made the trip to celebrate the 4th of July and to just enjoy hanging out. The house is right on the coast of the ocean with the town of Mendocino about 15 min away. Mendocino is a tiny town with approx. 5000 residents (according to a local we chatted up during the parade). This is a yearly trip we will be making with Casey's side as well as a trip home to Michigan to visit my side of the family. This year Noah and I will be in Michigan for most of August with Casey joining us mid-month for 10 days! We are really looking forward to visiting with everybody!

Noah also took swimming lessons in July! He absolutely loved them! He was happy just splashing around with the other babies, playing on the kickboards, and on the last day he actually "swam" by himself between his two swimming teachers. The passed him between each other and let him go so he could feel the buoyancy of the water and to let him froggy kick on his own! He did great... coming up with a big smile!

Love to you all....

Family

Hi Everyone! Most of you know that I have been trying to keep you all up to date on Noah and how he is developing over the last 6 months as well as keeping you in the loop on what we are doing as a family. This weekend a friend introduced me to this website and I thought what a great way to keep everyone up on what is happening in our lives! So, instead of me constantly sending emails (I know that can get annoying sometimes) you can periodically check in here and see how Noah is growing and what we are up to! I can post his pictures as well as videos.... Hope you all enjoy!
